Our Beginnings.....
Deeply
moved and guided by Messages
Ruth Ann Wade began receiving from our Lord Jesus and His Blessed Mother
in the early 90's, Ruth Ann and Jim Wade, both educators in the Bloomington
public school system, gave up their home, their farm, and the future they
had planned, dedicating the land to the Mother of Jesus.
As you tour
this website, you will learn through excerpts from the Messages Ruth Ann
has received that each step taken in the development of this "Haven
of Peace and Prayer" has been done under the guidance of Jesus and
Mary. The Retreat Center is still referred to as "The Farm"
by those who visit, as it was throughout the messages.
Staffed by dedicated volunteers, Mother of the Redeemer Retreat Center
also houses a friary for the Franciscan
Friars of the Immaculate.
Visitors are welcomed
to come share in its quiet beauty.

|
From simple beginnings, the facilities have grown to include a retreat
house, a 30-room guesthouse, a dining hall, an annex, and a bookstore. |
|
The Wades' former home serves as the convent. At the top of the hill,
the chapel, with its commanding view of the surrounding countryside, offers
visitors a place for worship, prayer, and quiet reflection. |

|
This farm has been chosen by God to be
a haven of peace and prayer. It is to be a refuge for
My children. I have come to call My children here to receive blessings,
miracles, and graces available in great abundance.
